What do you use ginger for?

Ginger combines well with various other ingredients. But it can also be used in different kinds of dishes and drinks. So there are plenty of possibilities! Ginger exists in various forms, namely: ginger juice, candied ginger, fresh ginger and ginger syrup. 

What can you do with fresh ginger?

You can do different things with it. The flavouring can be used in many different dishes. Our favourite is ginger tea or lemonade. But it can also be used in sweet dishes like cake. Grate fresh ginger and mix it into your cake, for example. Fresh ginger can also be used in wok dishes or even in a stew. Cut the ginger into small pieces or grate it finely. And add it to your dish or cook with it.

Ginger recipes healthy

Are ginger recipes healthy? Is ginger tea healthy and what does it do to you? Ginger does not make a recipe healthy by definition, but it can contribute to good health. It can also make healthy ingredients, of which you don't like the taste, a lot easier to eat. How about a boring salad, for example? You can easily make it tastier with some fresh ginger. 

What is ginger not good for?

Ginger is generally considered to be safe to use [1]. However, it is advisable to be careful with the use of ginger when taking certain medicines. Do you doubt whether you can use ginger safely? Always consult your doctor. 

What does fresh ginger tea do to you?

Drinking fresh ginger tea can increase your resistance. Ginger has an anti-inflammatory effect [2] and is therefore good to use in case of pain and colds. Furthermore, fresh ginger tea warms you up. And, of course, it is very tasty!

Ginger drink recipes

Our favourite for using fresh ginger in recipes is in drinks! There are so many possibilities. How about a ginger tea, smoothie or cocktail?
 

Ginger tea

Ginger tea can be made with fresh ginger. Or with our G'nger Pure or Original ginger juices. Shake your G'nger bottle before use and pour the desired amount into a glass. Just add boiling water and you have your ginger tea!

Ginger smoothie

You can also vary endlessly with ginger in your smoothie. Choose your favourite fruit and possibly vegetables. Add (vegetable) milk of your choice. Use a piece of fresh ginger or G'nger Pure or Original. Put all the ingredients in a blender or hand blender. And your smoothie is ready!

Ginger cocktail

Ginger is also perfect in a cocktail! Give your favourite cocktail a twist with G'nger Pure or Original ginger juice.
